- Behlen Country - the nation’s leading manufacturer of livestock and ranch equipment
- Behlen Building Systems - delivering pre-engineered metal buildings through a nationwide network of builders
- International and Diversified Products (IDP) - Grain Systems, Strip Joining Presses, and Custom Fabrication. As part of the IDP business unit, in early 2008 Behlen purchased Distefano Tool & Mfg. in Omaha, Nebraska adding even more capacity and more capability. Distefano fabricates more than 1,000 different metal components for various industries including commercial turf care, agricultural, construction, transportation, medical, and telecommunications.
Locations: Behlen World headquarters are located at our 850,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Columbus, Nebraska. Additional U.S. locations include Baker City, Oregon; Huntingdon, Tennessee; and Omaha, Nebraska.
The Behlen Leadership Team includes Phil Raimondo – CEO and President of Behlen Building Systems, Tony Raimondo Jr. – Vice Chairman and President of Behlen Country, and Lyle Burbach – President of International and Diversified Products (IDP).
Proud to be Locally Owned - Behlen was founded in 1936; in 1984, following 15 years of ownership by the Wickes Corp., Behlen was returned to local ownership by Tony Raimondo (known as “TR”) who led a management buyout. TR, the Chairman & Coach of Behlen Mfg. Co., has served on the NAM Board since 1996. Behlen strongly supports the NAM and its efforts to promote manufacturing and create jobs in America.
